California Proxies Privacy Policy

This policy explains what California Proxies collects when you use our site, dashboard, API and Los Angeles mobile proxy lines, what we do with it, and what we deliberately don't keep. We've kept it short because the honest answer is short. Version dated October 10, 2026.

What we collect

Account details: the email you sign up with, a password hash, a display name if you set one, and your Telegram ID if you link the bot.

Payment references: an order number, the amount, the method, and a processor transaction ID. Card numbers never reach us; they go straight to the processor. Crypto payments leave a wallet address and a transaction hash in our records, because that's how we match the payment to your order.

Connection metadata: when a session on your line started and ended, the source IP that connected to the proxy, the bytes moved, the carrier address the line held at the time, and rotation events. We use this for billing, fair-use checks, abuse response, and keeping the LA rack healthy.

Support messages: whatever you send us by email, dashboard chat or the Telegram bot, plus our replies, so the next person who picks up your thread has the history.

Site basics: web server logs with IP, user agent and the page requested, kept briefly for security and debugging.

What we don't collect

We don't inspect, log or store the contents of the traffic that passes through your line. No page bodies, no request headers beyond what the proxy needs to route, no form data. TLS traffic is encrypted end to end between you and the site, and we couldn't read it even if we wanted to.

We don't build profiles of the sites you visit, we don't run advertising, and we don't sell personal information to anyone.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets a session cookie so you stay signed into the dashboard and a preference cookie for language and theme. There's no advertising pixel. We run a lightweight, self-hosted page counter that sees a page path and a coarse country; it sets no tracking cookie and doesn't follow you across other sites.

How long we keep things

Account details stay for as long as the account exists and for a short tidy-up window after it's closed. Payment references are kept for the period accounting and tax rules require. Detailed connection metadata is purged on a rolling schedule measured in weeks rather than years, except where an open abuse case or a legal hold needs a specific range kept. Support threads are kept so we can see the history if you come back later.

Who else sees data

Payment processors (card and PayPal acquirers, crypto payment gateways) see what they need to take your money. Our email provider carries the messages we send you. Telegram carries the bot conversation under Telegram's own policy. Our hosting providers hold the servers the dashboard and the LA rack management run on. None of them get your data for their own marketing.

We hand data to authorities only when a valid US legal request requires it, and only the data we actually hold.

Your rights, including as a California resident

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete your account and its data, with payment records we're legally obliged to keep as the one exception. Email support from the address on the account and we'll take it from there.

If you're a California resident, the same rights apply and you can also tell us not to sell your personal information. That one's easy: we don't sell it and we don't share it for cross-context advertising. We won't treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed, dashboard and API traffic is TLS-only, access to the LA rack management network is key-based and limited to the staff who need it, and payment card data lives with the processor rather than with us. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you we'll tell you promptly and say what happened.

Children

The service is for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we close accounts we find belong to minors.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the version date and post it on the site. Material changes are also announced in the dashboard before they take effect.

Contact

Privacy questions and requests go to [email protected] or to @CaliforniaProxiesBot on Telegram. Either way a person answers, around the clock, Pacific time or otherwise.

Questions

Do you log which websites I visit through the line?

No. We keep connection metadata (when, from where, how much), not where the traffic went or what it contained.

Can I have everything deleted?

Yes, by closing the account. Payment references we're required to keep for accounting stay; everything else goes.

Is there a tracking pixel on the site?

No. A session cookie, a preference cookie and a self-hosted page counter are the whole story.
